Classes & programs
Hatha Yoga Classes are accessible to everyone—no matter your age, flexibility, or fitness level!
Please note, Mind & Body Flex has temporarily postponed its services.
Krishnamacharya once said: "If you can breathe, you can do yoga."
Mind & Body Flex creates a safe and welcoming space for all students, treating everyone equally, no matter their background or how long they’ve been practicing yoga. The classes focus on breathwork, dynamic warm-ups, and a variety of physical movements, which helps to boost energy levels and increase body flexibility.
Learn new things and get inspired!
Whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced, everyone is welcome. I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
I focus on bringing awareness to safe alignment in my classes, with modifications always offered to suit individual needs. The carefully tailored guided relaxation and meditation techniques will help you feel both rejuvenated and relaxed, allowing the mind and body to SLOW DOWN at the end of each session.
Above all, don’t forget to bring A SMILE! Yoga is meant to be fun and enjoyable!

What Is Actual
Hatha Yoga?
More and more women and men in the Western world are turning to yoga to release tension, stretch, and unwind from the busyness and stress of daily life. The word “yoga” can be translated as “union,” and Hatha Yoga specifically combines two elements: ‘ha’ (sun) and ‘ta’ (moon). It symbolizes the balance between masculine (sun, hot, active) and feminine (moon, cool, receptive) energies. To put it simply, we hold both within us.
Hatha Yoga classes blend Pranayama (breathing practices), asanas (postures), and relaxation techniques. The postures are held for longer periods, at a gentler pace, allowing you to experience each asana fully and surrender in each pose. However, don’t mistake Hatha Yoga for just physical exercise. It can be both physically and mentally challenging, even when practiced slowly.
There are many styles of Hatha Yoga, and I encourage you to explore different classes until you find the teacher and style that resonate with you. Every teacher brings their own unique skills and approach, so don’t hesitate to explore!
Always consult your doctor before starting any new treatment or practice if you have any doubts.
Why Would Hatha Yoga Classes
Be Good For Me?
Regular yoga practice can significantly improve your circulatory and cardiovascular health.
- For example, weight-bearing poses like Tree Pose, Side Angle, Triangle, and Warrior I, II, and III can help build bone density in the spine and femur.
- Boat, Plank, Downward-Facing Dog, Chair Pose, and Warrior I strengthen your core muscles, boosting your performance in sports and fitness.
- Yoga poses also enhance overall flexibility and joint mobility. The Sun Salutations flow, for instance, supports a wide range of movement.
- If practiced regularly, Modified Hatha Yoga poses—like a gentle Bridge Pose—can help alleviate and ease the symptoms of lower back pain.
- Poses such as Tree Pose, Dance Pose, and Mountain Pose improve balance, posture, and proprioception (body awareness).
- Hatha Yoga can increase oxygen uptake, muscle tone, strength, endurance, and joint mobility. It also triggers the release of endorphins, which can boost your mood and help with symptoms of anxiety and depression.
