1. Who are we?

The Mind & Body Flex will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. 2. How do we collect information from you?

We collect personal data in order to process your registration for an activity which has been advertised on our website, social media or in our leaflets. In particular, this includes attending a yoga class, workshop, sports massage treatment, reiki session or other event organized by the Mind & Body Flex. This information – consisting most basically of name, address, telephone number, medical history and e-mail address – is considered personal data because it can be traced back to you.

We collect information about you when you complete relevant forms for us, including health forms at the beginning of the yoga class, yoga workshops or sports massage appointments. The information is gathered from online, phone and face-to-face communication.

3. What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect, store and use might include:

  • past and present medical history;
  • information about your activities on our website and about the device used to access it, for instance your IP address and geographical location;
  • your bank or credit card details. If you make a purchase online, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors such as PAYPAL, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions; and

4. How is your information used?

We may use your information for a number of different purposes, which may include:

  • providing you with the services, products regarding special yoga events, classes, workshops and sports massage offers or information you asked for;
  • seeking your views or comments on the services we provide;

5. Types of data we collect

We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing lists

6. Access To Information & Your Rights

Right of access

You have a right to request access to the personal data that we hold about you. You also have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, and we will provide you with this unless legal exceptions apply. Right to have your inaccurate personal information corrected

You have the right to have inaccurate or incomplete information we hold about you corrected. 7. How long do we keep your data?

We keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a maximum of 7 years. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
