Yoga contraindications & cautions
We know yoga can be beneficial to our bodies, however not all poses/postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) are advisable to everybody, at all times. We need to take into an account our different strengths and limitations. Not to forget, ongoing injuries and physical impairments. While some postures can bring a great benefit to some, the very same movements can jeopardise one’s health. Every body is different, listen to your inner guidance, use modifications and know when to STOP.
