About Mind & Body Flex

I have been teaching yoga on a weekly basis since November 2014, facilitating hands on and distant reiki since January 2018 and sound healing since December 2018.

I'm Justyna

I facilitated theme orientated yoga classes and workshops for students from the ages of 13-65. I taught at the conferences and at the yoga retreats while travelling around the world. I also run workshops, yoga relaxation sessions for the University students and instructed Yoga of 12-Step Recovery classes. I offered free yoga classes between September 2018-April 2020, facilitated hands on and distant reiki, and sound healing sessions in Canada, USA, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina during my 20 month worldwide travelling solo adventure.

I am a self-motivated, energetic and conscientious individual with a focussed mind-set. I am a passionate yoga practitioner who strives to teach yoga with kindness, compassion and laughter. I possess confident, pleasant and articulate communication skills and can relate to people on all levels. I always wanted to show others that yoga can be fantastic medicine free exercise. It is more than just a crossed leg position on the mat. It can be fun filled with new experiences. Yoga teaches how to deal with stress efficiently, how to breathe, how to be in a moment and how to accept yourself as a worthy human being.

I would love to share my hatha yoga practice with you so I can help you to get stronger mentally and physically, to be more flexible and to be truly in a moment while allowing the mind and the body to fully relax in Savasana (final relaxation pose, also known as the Corpse Pose).

What Do I Love?

I love to giggle, but I guess you already noticed that if you attended my class.

I love nature and to explore the world while meeting incredible people and having out-of-this world travelling experiences.

I climbed Kilimanjaro in 2015 and this was one of the most extraordinary spiritual experiences I have ever had.

April 2020 was the date when I returned from my 20-month worldwide solo journey which changed me profoundly on a spiritual, emotional and physical level.

What is my favourite quote?
‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’ by Suzan Jeffers.

PERSONAL OBJECTIVE

What Can You Expect In My Classes?

In my classes you can expect understanding, respect and freedom to be yourself. I adjust to my students during practise and like to combine elements of breathing and cleansing exercises, physical movements and relaxation techniques. I teach and guide students safely, welcome and treat anyone equally, regardless of who they are or how long they have been practicing yoga.

The teaching place is free of judgement, jealousy, anger, hate and competition. I encourage my students to let go of expectations, at the end of the day it’s my role as a teacher to guide you. Just come along and try it. What if you like it?

*You should always consult your doctor when it comes to your health, or before you start any treatment.

How Did It All Begin?

I used to be very competitive and attended a variety of high intensity classes over the years. One day I wanted to try a yoga class to see what that practice was about. I had no expectations although I was pretty sceptical. I was horrified by how inflexible I was at the time.I was moving more like a robot, there was no flow or gentleness in my movements. The relaxation at the end of the class was so wonderful because it allowed me to finally calm my mind and body. I let go of the expectations and gave myself permission to rest.

That was the beginning of my yoga encounter, I never looked back. Although I started yoga purely to stretch my physical body, over the years I learnt so much more about myself and other non-physical elements of yoga. The discovery never ends, it goes on and on and that is exactly what I love about yoga. As a teacher I am constantly learning something new from others, my students are my BEST teachers.
